To Chase Or Not To Chase, That Is The Question

I always ask myself, is it better if a guy gives you more affection than you give him? Don't get me wrong, I think a relationship is established when the people involved give each other the same amount of effort and love, but it's scary to think that one of them might fall out of love for some reason.

From my experience, or from the stories I've heard from my friends, I feel like men tend to fall out of love or just stop caring for some reason no matter how much the girl tries. Is this actually because the girl gives too much? Maybe it's rooted deep down in our primary instincts to be hunted by the predator, in this case, men. Just like a leopard or tiger out in the wild, maybe men like the "chase" itself and stop trying once they know the girl is theirs. This applies to women too, so please don't feel offended by what I've written, because I'm just speaking based ON my knowledge.

I feel like knowing that the person you care for the most loves you endlessly would most definitely give you a sense of security, just like the feeling of snuggling under your warm bed sheets after a long and reckless day. It's kind of similar to how Holly Golightly feels safe and not out of place when she's at Tiffanys. (If you haven't seen the movie then you are missing out BIG TIME)
